探险号能够为每一位乘客提供私密的小型探险船体验。自2009年完全重新翻修后，探险号便能自豪地以其宽敞的船舱为傲，它的每一间船舱均设有海景窗或舷窗，并设有独立卫浴。宽敞的公共空间及观景甲板则能让每一位乘客极致地体验到这块世界最偏远大陆的壮观与魅力。

探险号船舱设施完善，包括360度观景甲板、前部观景甲板、宽敞前厅、孤独星球（Lonely Planet）图书馆、探险酒廊、国际餐厅、北极熊俱乐部、礼品店、医务室（配有一名船上医生）、健康中心、桑拿房、健身房、电脑室，并设有多种通讯设备：电脑、网络、GMDSS等。
探险号为保证船的安全性做了许多特别升级。包括前部声呐系统，用于减少礁石与石头未被探测到的风险；1B级的抗冰级让它能够更好地在海冰中航行，同时船上为所有船员及乘客配备了冰水救生衣。
